Sew Crafty

For the past couple of years or so, I have been interested in taking a sewing class. I knew a few of my girlfriends were also interested so back in October, we signed up for classes at this adorable place called Sew Crafty. Because they only take 5 students per class, it was a little difficult finding 3 spots together, but we finally got booked and we had our first class yesterday. Our project was a craft apron. Now mind you, before the class, I have never seen a sewing machine up close and personal and I could barely sew a button. The class was very informative and we all just loved it. We're ready to take on our next project (which will either be a tote bag or a skirt). Here are our lovely creations....

Me, Michelle, and Melissa with our craft aprons

Please excuse the way I look. I had just showered from the gym and didn't have time to fix my hair and makeup before rushing to class. My hair was in a clip so it dried a little crazy.

Here is a close-up of my apron... I think my crooked lines add character :)
