Clueless on Saturday

Tonight Will and I went to my brother's 30th birthday party and it was a 90's party. I have been so busy this week that I never got around to putting a 90's outfit together. Will had saved a couple of items of clothing from his 90's hey day and was happy to wear his authentic 90's outfit. Since I got rid of a ton of old clothes in the last garage sales, I didn't have much to work with and I was clueless. Which led me to my inspiration to my 90's outfit.. I went to the closet and pieced it together with what I already owned and viola! Cher and the gang from Clueless (1995) would be so proud.

Here are my details..
Button up collared shirt w. ruffle sleeve - Gap / Mossimo sweater vest - Target / Pink and black skirt - Anthropologie /Merona patterned knee highs - Target /Issac Mizrahi heels - Target / Long beaded necklace - gifted

Will's look...
Crazy Button-up shirt - Guess
Tapered jeans - bought at JCP back in the day
Black Boots - Doc Martin's

He tried to get his hair to do the Vanilla Ice thing, but he didn't have enough spray or enough hair to get real height.

Today was also the day my girlfriends and I made holiday cards for the troops. Here is a pic of some of the cards we did and the care package we're sending out...

Hey Girl! Great idea to send the care packages to the troops - which organization are you going through? I would like to put some things together and send some packages from Dallas. Let me know.

Love your blog. I read it daily and enjoy checking out what's going on.

Love ya!

Your outfit is so so perfect! I just love everything about it! Maybe 'cause Clueless is one of my ALL-TIME favorite movies. You pulled it off so well. That skirt is the cutest ever.

Look at all those beautiful cards and goodies. What an amazing thing your and your friends are doing. KUDOS!

Krista! I've been meaning to call you. Been thinking of your guys. Hope your move went well. I'll e-mail you the info for the troops and I'll give you a call soon. Glad you like my blog :-)

Trace, I love Clueless too. I was so happy this outfit worked out. I really didn't want to go gundge (just not me). The fact that I didn't have to buy anything was a plus too.

I love clueless and your outfit would have been perfect to hang out with Cher and the gang, remember when they had a TV show, it was weird. Anyway love the cards too.

OMG, your outfit is so cool, you are just too cute. (And your DH is adorable -- the hair is too much, lol!)

How lovely all those goodies look for our troops! You are both talented and generous :)
